Amy won the South of England Senior Inter County title for 2000m steeplechase at Basingstoke. Conditions were extremely windy but Amy ran a well executed race, looking very confident. She struck for home with just over two laps to go and won just over 9 seconds ahead of the second placed athlete and just two seconds outside her PB.

Great results from our ladies teams at the Hampshire Road Relays. All team members had competed in the SAL the previous day but gave their all in the relays with our senior womens team finishing in first place in the senior race and our Under 17 women winning gold in the the Under 17 womens race.
Rhiannon led the senior team off to finish in second place with a time of 19.05. Georgie (20.06) ran the second leg to maintain the team position before handing over to Corin. A great run from Corin, recording the second fastest leg overall (18.22) to bring the team home in first place. Megan led off the Under 17 team, running well (20.51) before hanging over to Beth. Beth, still with yesterdays 3k in her legs, gave her all, running 22.27 before handing over to Kathryn for the final leg. A good leg from Kathryn (20.58) brought the team home in first place to claim the gold medal. Well done ladies.
